Rebecca Ruegger is an American visual artist based in rural Tennessee, where the surrounding nature forms the backdrop for her work. Her pieces are dreamy, poetic, and deeply rooted in the shapes and moods of the natural world. She was previously active as an illustrator but has now dedicated her practice to a more personal and free visual language. Her works have been exhibited and sold in both the United States and Europe, and are included, among other places, in the collection of the Tennessee State Museum.
